The draw was held and the guy found out that he should have the winning numbers, so he contacted his friend to ask him where his Lotto ticket was, as he wanted to claim the prize ($1.7 million). His friend told him that he never got round to buying the ticket. The next thing the guy knew was that his friend tried to claim the prize for himself.
