We recently brought it up on our 4.2BSD Vax/750. I find the interpeter unexpectedly slow, taking vast amounts of time for seemingly simple operations. It is essentially impossible to use compiled code while debugging since it seems to take forever to fasl in compiled files. Anyone out there with better experiences? Hints, tricks? (I know about SAVE). -- -- JP Massar, Thinking Machines Corporation, Cambridge, MA -- mit-eddie!godot!massar, ihnp4!godot!massar, massar@think, massar@cca-unix
