Well, I've been more than pleasantly surprised (if not
somewhat overwhelmed) by the volume of e-mail I've received
regarding the new AT&T WE 32100 Microprocessor chipset
offering, after my initial posting.  I also understand the
operators at the 800 phone number have noticed a significant
increase in calls for data sheets.  Kudos to the power of
the net.

I suggested to one of the net administrators that a
"net.micro.we32100" be established.  He replyed that we
needed to show more interest from others in netland.  Well,
its AT&T's policy not to reveal the names of its customers
so, if anyone out there working with our chipset (and there
are quite a few!) wants to talk about it please cast your
vote.  If you're just a casual observer who'd like to see
such a newsgroup, your vote counts too.

In the interim, I'm going to post a series of short
technical articles, each describing a member of our chipset
in detail, followed by descriptions of our Hardware-Software
Development System and Evaluation Board.  One person asked
about our VME/UNIX board that was mentioned at the press
conference, I'll see if I can release some info.

For those who sent resumes, thanks.  And yes, we are hiring
