Are there any brands with which people have had bad experiences? The next cheapest I know of are $2.74 each, Memorex brand. Beyond that, they all seem to go for about $3 to $3.50 from almost everybody. The $2 ones are "Conroy-LaPointe" brand which they say are relabeled Sony's. (Conroy-LaPointe is a Portand, Oregon -based discount house. Their phone number, if you're interested, is 800-547-1289 (or 800-451-5151 in Oregon) I'm also interested in bad experiences people have had with modems. Nathan C.
