Apple had originally planned to time this for September 1, but sales of the Mac XL have been a bit faster than anticipated, and the stock has been about sold off. The new ROM and MacWorks release are still supposed to arrive in a week or two. I also learned that a 20 Mb disk for the Mac will be announced with the new ROMs, around September 1. I would label both of these has "highly reliable rumor." -- ----------------------- Stew Rubenstein UUCP: ihnp4!harvard!stew Harvard Chemistry ARPA: stew@harvard
