For the most part it is identical to vi; a few features are missing, but the macro capability is expanded. The missing features are: "wrapmagin" mode - probably a few other modes too, but this one is annoying. They DO have autoindent, which is the other mode I use a lot. some :commands, most notably :g/foo/s/bar/baz/ The macro capability lets you do the same thing, (so name your macro "g"), so it's logical to leave out, but it's a bit weird. On the other hand, the :e, :wq, :n stuff all works fine, and :! gets you into DOS like it should. We've had a few problems getting wildc*rds to expand, but basically it's vi, and we like it. (So we've renamed it "vi". The copyright banner page flashes at startup to remind us it's still "Z".) Cost - by itself about $125; you can also get it in a package with their latest "C" compiler, and some "make", "grep", and related utilities.
