If you can't get up from what you're doing, try isometrics. Avoid any place where there are smokers, especially bars. When I quit about 15 years ago, the first month or so was an ordeal; after that, the craving subsides, but you are very susceptible to relapse within the first year, and you will likely always have a subtle, lingering desire for tobacco for a long time; it's a tough addiction to fight, but it's a battle you can't afford to lose.
