A few weeks of intense activity, followed by several months of little good stuff. However, Ernestine Anderson just cut an album of blues classics with one wicked band! I don't know the name of it but it just got released a month ago. Well worth it. Some hot piano and tenor sax, and Ernestine herself, of course, with that sweet-and- coarse-at-the-same-time voice of hers. Nice!!! Marcel Simon
