  Was the song "Lola" by the Kinks inspired by the character Lola
(played by Marlene Dietrich) in the movie "The Blue Angel" ?

  I remember watching the movie and then hearing the song and
wondering if the Kinks got the idea from the movie since the 
characters in both the song and the movie are similar.

  But then it might be "...just my imagination (once again) runnin'
away with me..."
