If anyone posts or mails such info, please try to include what you can on the consumer electronics industry. I have long thought that India should be a good source for inexpensive shortwave radios, but I have heard that those that are produced there are of obsolete design or poorly made; this may be totally wrong (I hope so!), and I'd like to know facts on the subject.
