    Why does it have to have anything to do with religious conviction?  I think
that he's just stating something that Blaise Pascal has said that he agrees
with.  Even you agree with the statement.  Do you feel anything is wrong with
his signature line, or are you just curious?  If you do think that something is
wrong with his signature line, just how/why DO you find his use of that particu-
lar signature line bothersome?
