I was merely distinguishing the origin of the life of the *creator* from the origin of life *on earth*. The original posting was an attempt to state succinctly my interpretation of creationist beliefs regarding the origin of life *on earth*, and I wanted to make sure I didn't imply that (I thought that) creationists believed the same thing about the origin of the creator. (Saying that creationists believe that the *creator* arose from non-life would *really* have caused a fury - since it's almost undoubtedly not true.)
