This is a test.  The last 7 articles I posted (spanning several weeks) never
made it off the uiuc campus.  If this makes it out, would one of the consistent
contributors mind sending me some mail?  It would be a shame if I had to get
all of my articles posted through Paul.

Since I don't know if this will make it out, no use working up some big article
or reply.  However, at least allow me to suggest that you cut down on the

The biggest offender has been the replies to Ron Kukuk's postings of
Dr. Brown's handout.  Everyone can reread the base note if needed; there's no
need to copy every line 10 times in 10 replies.  I often like to print out the
discussion on net.origins.  I've recently stopped doing this in an attempt to
avoid killing all forests in North America.  Any quotes should be brief & to
the point.  Thanks.
