Either Aliens visit Earth, or they don't. If they don't, you're very silly to go around talking about them... If they do, why are they here and what should you do about it? a) They don't want to talk to you or announce themselves in public. If they wanted to, they would have. b) They're not keeping it top secret either, or else why do they go around with bright running lights all the time? c) If they are in contact with the government, you may claim it is our right to know, but clearly the aliens don't wan't it broadcast so why go against that? So if Aliens are here, they don't want to talk to YOU. The most likely explanations are that they don't want to get involved here, or that they are "teasers."
