I hope that some of you get the same chance. Last year I went bird watching at the Malheur Field Station in South-East Oregon. There were two Great Horned Owls sitting in a tree just beside the road. I was able to get within fifty feet of them, and focus a Questar telescope on them. I could look right at their great big eyes as they were looking right at me.
