What is wrong with men (or women) wanting to initiate romantic/sexual encounters? I hear the above complaints constantly from women in bars, and it annoys me every time. I repeat, what is wrong with anyone wanting to initiate romantic encounters? If you're not interested, fine, there's no law saying you have to be. But why is there this innate prejudice against people who do? Sooner or later we have to meet somewhere, so why not in a bar?
