I'll tell you why the crew ages, it's only a damn movie.  The series and
the movies never tried to *predict* the future.  The whole idea of
Startrek is adventure in the future.  If you want to nitpick on this, tell
me why in old Buck Rogers' series when the ship was flying through dark
space, the smoke was rising, when there is no air present.:-)
