Message-ID: <280@sdcc12.UUCP> Date: Tue, 30-Apr-85 23:17:48 EDT Article-I.D.: sdcc12.280 Posted: Tue Apr 30 23:17:48 1985 Date-Received: Fri, 3-May-85 03:36:15 EDT Organization: U.C. San Diego, Academic Computer Center Lines: 10 Keywords: IBM, system-38, tapes, 1600 bpi, 8-track, Perkin-Elmer. Does anyone know how to read from and write to IBM tapes (from a system 38) with a Perkin-Elmer running UNIX version 7? The IBM rep said that the tapes are "standard IBM format, un-labeled (labeling is optionaly available), 1600 bpi, 8-track." Any and all advice is appreciated. Thanks.
