                                 Requires a
                      UNIX Systems Manager/Programmer

MPR runs UNIX (currently 4.2bsd) in production mode on several  large  VAXes
and  MicroVAXes.  We  have  modified the OS to suit our needs and will do so
again if necessary.

This position involves system management, new facility  development,  and  a
considerable  amount  of consulting for our very knowledgable user base.  It
requires a broad and deep understanding of UNIX.  Many of the  routine  jobs
involved  with system management have been automated or are handled by other
personnel.

Experience with networking (particularly LAN) and some acquaintance with VMS
would be assets.
