What happens is that when I issue the DISMOUNT command, the disk status on a show device becomes marked for dismount, and then becomes timed out. If you reissue a dismount command, DCL says that the device is not mounted. However, if you issue another mount command, DCL says that the device is already mounted. Can anyone shed any light on the situation ? It doesn't seem to happen all the time, and I haven't determined if it's a specific pack that is casuing the problem. Thanks in advance for any help.
