You should be thankful that I have not tried to convince people that this is the fault of the printers, rather than the fault of the "whole system" environment including the fonts and the spacing information that the formatting programs have to work with. When I have the time, I will put together an explanation of scaling, including geometric and typographic, for the benefit of you and anybody else who might not understand it. In the interim, I guess that as long as you keep identifying yourself as an Imagen stockholder in any message where you flame at LaserWriters, things should be OK.
