Don't these guys have anything more productive to do with their time (and our money) than just to be Professional Nuisances on our highways. I can see it now, a 15 mile traffic jam that slows down an emergency vehicle enough to cost a life somewhere. Or while these idiots are out there protecting us from ourselves, a serious crime is being commited elsewhere that could benefit from the extra resources. Who are these guys??? Do we ask for this kind of harrassment?? Kind of like Lent year round I suppose. It seems obvious to me that if the Maryland State Police can muster all these resources for such a pointless exercise, then the good people of Maryland must have hired too many of them. Probably something that should be rectified. Graham Slieker DEC Tewksbury MA.
