Texas, Astronomy, Austin, TX Lines: 13 When shake is temporarily cured by wheel balancing and alignment, and recurs safter a k-mile or so, you may have to check struts and bearings... I had a Toyota Tercel that had struts replaced twice, the first time after I skipped a kerb (curb?) at 35mph, the second time after I did not do any such thing (I sold the car after that, I cannot afford to spend 500 bucks every time I run over a roach or a pebble). Shake is annoying and frustrating. I deeply sympathize.
