NATURAL chickens (like what my mother keeps) definitely have a
decrease in egg production in the winter, don't know why price of eggs
from chickens in artificial environments should go up, except
traditional cycles...

BTW, egg-laying chickens and meat-chickens have been bred to being
very different birds...egg-laying chickens are these hyper, SCRAWNY,
little things, chickens for eating put on weight so fast they were having
trouble for a while because the legs weren't strong enough for the
bird...
