A collection of unpublished works by Ayn Rand, covering the period from
1920-1940 has recently been published.  The collection contains
5 short stories, 2 plays, and some material edited out of the novels
"We the Living" and "The fountainhead".

The collection vividly shows the development of Ayn Rand from 
a writer with interesting ideas but with limited command of the language
into the brilliant writer that we know.
