I don't know when the strike began, but it is now settled. Should your china not arrive soon, I suggest you write a polite threatening letter to RCS, explaining that you will send a copy to the travel editor of every major U.S. newspaper. Should this fail to produce results, there are consumer protection organizations that you can complain to. I think there is a U.K. government organization called something like "The Office of Fair Trading." What you need is a copy of the London Phone book. Your library might have it. There used to be (5 years ago) a weekly BBC(ITV?) program solely devoted to long winded consumer horror stories that was very humorous (and effective in getting action). Esther Rantzen was the host.
