The problem is that I will shortly have 2 LANs running independently
separated by about three miles (no we can't run cable between them). 
I would like some kind of gateway connection between them.  Ideally,
a user on either should not be aware that the gateway was being traversed
(except for some increased delay and/or decreased throughput).  Does
anyone out in netland know of such a beast? Replys by mail, please. 
I'll summarize if I get enough requests.
