"Is it user-friendly?" you ask.  No, it isn't user friendly,
and I'm tired of you asking me if it is.

It wasn't written to be user-friendly.  It was written to do a
job.  You didn't buy it to be user-friendly; you bought it as
a tool to get certain work done.  Now, dammit, treat it as a tool!

When you go out and buy a hammer, do you ask if it is user-friendly?
Of course not.  You learn to drive a nail.  Do you ask if it comes
with a guard to prevent you from mashing your fingers?  You learn
to swear, so that you may vent your rage when you do mash your
fingers.  In time, you learn not to pound your fingers.
