In NYC:                
 a sandwich on a long piece of Italian bread is a hero. [no e!]
 a sandwhich on a piece [not a long piece] of Italian bread is 
  a club sandwhich.

 I understand that in Phila. a hero is called a hoagie.

What about a rectangular piece of dough with mozzerella cheese 
and sauce -> SQUARE , SICILIAN, SQUARE PIZZA, ????
