I was considering setting up a new VD&D game and running some of the historical battles before finalizing the history. The Battle System looked tailor made and I bought it in a moment of weakness. The thing goes for about $20. Don't be fooled by the weight of the box. Most of what you get is sheets of cardboard counters. There is also a 8 1/2 x 11 "book" of terrain sheets The rules are sparse at best. If anybody is interested, I will drag the thing in to work and do a real review. -- Dr. Bob UUCP ..!ihnp4!plus5!bob High Priest Reformed Church of Smithing the Heretic The opinions expressed here are only loosely based on the facts.
