My kids watch the Flintstones on the cable TV here and I was able to
catch a show in which Fred's boss's name was Mr. Slate!  Mr. Peebles
was from Magilla Gorilla.  Pebble was Fred's daughter (who, my wife insists,
actually recorded (in the show) a reco]d called 'let the sun shine in').

They also put out a sugar-coated cerial called Pebbles.  (I never touch
the stuff!)
