Reasons cited are insurance, distraction, "avoiding the costs of day care", and unfairness to some employees. My personal feelings that infants (say, up to 18 months) require the sort of care that is not commonly found at day care centers (never mind the fact that day care in Socorro is almost non-existent :-)). Also, we are unwilling to give up large blocks of time with our child. So, I have a question for all of you net parents: what is the policy at your place of work? Are infants allowed? If so, under what circumstances? Any opinions, facts, etc. would be appreciated. Thanks, Bob
