Sometime this summer, one VAX will be moved to a building a few hundred yards down the street, and each building will have its own Ethernet. We'd like to have as fast a link as possible between the two Ethernets. If anyone out there has a similar set up, we'd like to know how you did it. We shouldn't have trouble getting a leased line (maybe even T1) between buildings. Also, has anyone implemented logical subnets in 4.2bsd, so the two Ethers and whatever connects them can share a single network number? Please respond by mail, and I'll summarize to the net if there is interest. Steve Feldman ucbvax!hplabs!oliveb!tymix!feldman {idi, ios, wjvax, amdimage}!tymix!feldman
