[Bug?]

	If I may add to the discussion of "What can Big Brother do with
all that information?" I've noticed that some local book stores use the
UPC information to generate your sales receipt, etc.  Now imagine you've
paid for your books with a credit card....yes, you see my point.  Do I
want a database to list all the book I've purchased, and in particular
whether I've bought a few TOO MANY books about nuclear policy and/or
Central America and/or anything else?  No I don't, and neither do you.
