Some people I know are using it on a time-shared Sigma 7, and it is only a matter of time before their computer dies permanently. They are evidently quite happy with SPS, so information about implementations on more recent hardware or suggestions about other similar packages would be welcome. SPS has no relation to the better known SPSS. I know about SPSS, and the SPS fans say they don't like it, so that's not an answer. Any hints otherwise would be greatly appreciated.
