The Problem: the printer port on my computer has a DB-9 connector on it,
and DEC wants me to buy a $55 manual to find out the pinout so I can connect
it to a printer.

Can you please tell me the typical pinout used when a DB-9 is configured as 
a serial port?  (I'm assuming it is serial, anyway).

For what it's worth, the computer is a DEC PRO-350.

I would appreciate any info that might help solve this problem.
