Message-ID: <478@ihlpg.UUCP> Date: Tue, 14-May-85 09:07:04 EDT Article-I.D.: ihlpg.478 Posted: Tue May 14 09:07:04 1985 Date-Received: Wed, 15-May-85 01:01:49 EDT Distribution: net Organization: AT&T Bell Laboratories Lines: 14 The Problem: the printer port on my computer has a DB-9 connector on it, and DEC wants me to buy a $55 manual to find out the pinout so I can connect it to a printer. Can you please tell me the typical pinout used when a DB-9 is configured as a serial port? (I'm assuming it is serial, anyway). For what it's worth, the computer is a DEC PRO-350. I would appreciate any info that might help solve this problem. tim ...ihnp4!ihlpg!timborn (312) 979-4310
