It has been mentioned before that the reason the ST is in Canada first is
because it hasn't yet passed FCC inspection for EMI in the states.  It is my
understanding that the units for the US are identical, and that the inspection
is only a formality.  Since production has probably not ramped up enough to
support both countries, the delay is probably fortuituous for Atari.
