I've seen the rumor about Kaypro, but have heard from the regional
sales rep and seen the description of Zenith's z-200 series machines.
They are ibm-at clones, reportedly faster and without the hard disk
problems.  They sound great!

Zenith is also releasing a $999 machine with 2 disk drives and ibm
compatibility--non-expandable, a lap-top and some other 'transportable'
machines at very good prices.  They are to be released in August (Zenith
has been fairly accurate about release dates) so---
