I've gotten the new ROM BIOS, new double- sided floppy drives, and 512k RAM, but can't decide on a 10Meg drive. I'm just about ready to give up on complete XT compatibility in the hard drive controller -- I'll settle for anything that runs DOS 2.1, although PC/IX or VENIX compatibility would be a plus. The main thing is that I don't want to spend a huge amount on something that I'll probably throw away in a couple of years anyway. Any suggestions? I've looked at several popular models, but can't really judge which is the best. Oh, I would also like to avoid upgrading the power supply, if possible, so low power consumption is a must. Just mail me any suggestions you may have. I hope I'm not repeating an earlier request for this same info -- I'm new to this newsgroup. Thanks, Peter Lee (pete@UMich, UMich!pete)
