(This line wants to work for micromush)

I had heard that you could use another drive as long as Xenix booted off
of an IBM drive.  There was something about it in the Arpanet bboard
INFO-IBM.PC.  Somebody had the same sort of troubles, ended up using a 20
mb drive in c: and a 32 mb drive as d:.  I know I was planning to do this.

Have you tried this configuration?  Does anybody know if it works?
(Please, before I spend my money needlessly.)
