Well, I for one am looking forward to this very much. Walter Murch is one of the most intellegent men in the film world. Consider the following credits: Co-author, editor of THX-1138; editing for The Rain People; sound editing for The Godfather; editing and mix of The Conversation; editing (UK acadamy award) for Julia; sound design (US Acadamy Award) for Apolcalypse Now. Lucas and Coppola are more than just friends; they consider him to be one of the few true artists in a field populated with hacks. If anyone is capable of making an intellegent film for Disney, Walter is perhaps that person. The studio was unhappy? The `suits' with the money were panicking at the usual time, as they often do when an expensive project has spent > 50% of the money and is < 50% done (usually the case since editing takes more time but costs less than shooting). -dB -- {amdahl, sun}!rtech!daveb | "Why do we have to live in boxes?
