He plays a remarkable fusion of jazz and Indian styles which can be both powerful and sensitive, and his technical ability is overwhelming. His band, if I remember correctly, includes guitars, sax, keyboards and a breath-actuated synthesizer, as well as percussion. The players are all highly accomplished. I believe he has recordings on the market, although I have not seen them. Based on the concert I saw here, however, I recommend you give him a listen anytime you get the chance.
