Lines: 24 Keywords: KFJC, Los Altos Hills [SNORT THIS LINE] Last year, as part of their `Month of Mayhem' programming, KFJC played about 450 versions of Louie, Louie; some were published, some were tapes that KFJC solicted for this extravaganza. There were versions from such notables as Patti Smith and the Dead Kennedys. Most were garage band stuff. The Rhino Records anthology was culled in part from this massive number. I think that a couple of other local college stations have done previous `Louie, Louie' marathons (KUSF, maybe) but KFJC holds the current record for most versions played. A very strange two days of programming. They might send you a playlist if you contact them at: KFJC 12345 El Monte Rd. Los Altos, Ca.
