  I'm glad to see that net.music.synth has been created. I'd be curious
to find out whether the subscribers to this group are (will be) more
generally musicians or scientists/engineers.
  To start things off, I think it would be useful for synth subscribers
to comment on their affiliation with synthesis as well as what direction
they would like to see this newsgroup take.
