There are two distinct mail machines at RPI. The main machine, an IBM 3081 running MTS, is hooked up to mailnet and can be reached using: persons_name%rpi-mts@mit-multics.arpa NOTE: This machine has a restriction on external mail traffic and if your addressee isn't priviledged (faculty, staff, certain grad students) you probably won't get through. The other machine is a Unix Vax on CSNet and can be reached using: personals_name@rpi.csnet@csnet_relay.arpa I've used both of these forms from Arpa; from UseNet you'll have to find a willing path to get you close enough to bounce there.
