There has been some interesting discussion going on regarding African medicine.

I know that there is more than medicine back home. Call it science or
technology (or whatever), IT is what one man demonstrated a long time ago
on our college campus. A short gun was fired at him on a stage at a very 
short range, he was not hurt.

The guy who fired the shot was not an accomplice. He was a close friend of
mine.

I know this is not uniquely African, but if these things are researched
and developed, who knows technology may one day start flowing out of Africa !!!
