These are large-capacity drives, like the Fujitsu Eagle, but they are narrow, allowing 2 to fit into the same space as one Eagle ! We are particularly interested in connecting them to an SI 9900 controller, which is now connected to 4 Eagles. I believe 8 NEC drives and the 9900 can fit in one 60" Vax cabinet.
