Today's Boston Globe reports that the Cape Cod and Hyannis Railway starts
weekend service next weekend, will run daily in the summer.  Track work has
allowed them to speed up schedules from Braintree, where there is a direct
transfer from the MBTA red line, to Hyannis, by half an hour.

I took the train down last summer; it was a gas.  It's all 50 year old
equipment with windows that open, and there's lots of beer for sale.
