Dept. of Labor, Emp. Train. Adm. Q. C. Group , Wash DC. Lines: 22 I own a Canon AE-1 with a 50mm f1.8 lens. For about the last year, I've been thinking about buying a couple of lenses (a zoom and a wide angle, or some such combination.) Recently, I've seen a lens made by quantaray, a 35-205mm, f3.5 (I think), With macro. Does anyone have any experience with this or another wide range (eg 3x to 2xx mm) lens? If these are actually pretty good lenses, it would seem to me to be the way to go for someone like me (read: Joe Novice, who uses the camera maybe once or twice a month for whatever). I will probably get a little more involved as time goes on, so would like to get something that will last.... Any comments would be Appricieated. Also what can you folks tell me about nikon's new 500mm mirror lens? -- Mike Stalnaker UUCP:{decvax!decuac, cbosgd, seismo}!dolqci!mike AT&T:202-376-2593 USPS:601 D.
