A drying rack is a great boon, especially in terms of space.

I use an overnight soak in cold water for FINAL prints,
just to let diffusion do its thing on residual fixer.
I have not found a painless way to wash prints.

Of course, Kodak hypo clearing agent is on my weekly shopping
list.....
